Happy Christmas!

Morning my beauties! I hope you've all been thoroughly spoilt and had a wonderful and restful Christmas! It's been a crazy few weeks so I'm enjoying some down time to enjoy and share my favourite Christmas present!

Ta da! I was super excited to unwrap this beauty on Christmas Day! Mr S was a bit cheeky and kept it back until last so I was really surprised!

It's really beautiful, A5 with a tweed cover and I'm itching to get going so I can share all of it's pretty pages with you.

There's lots of space on each page so I can decorate and include all of my important information too. Mr S has also bought me lots of supplies so I can keep my pages pretty which I'll share with you a bit later... In the meantime, I'm off to play'

Stationery Friday

Mr S has outdone himself this stationery Friday and I'm feeling like a very lucky and spoilt little starlet right now. We'd been reminiscing about fountain pens when he picked me up so he decided to treat me to something special. Normally I'm a devout Parker pen sort of gal, but after this I might just be a Lamy convert!

The packaging is lovely and I don't think I'll be getting rid of the bag anytime soon. It felt a little bit like Christmas getting it out of the bag!

See how pretty it is? I loved the fact that it was see through as it's just something a little bit different to my Parker collection.

It truly is a beautiful pen, I'm certainly in love. I picked some turquoise ink as it has a see through barrel and have already requested a second to fill with pink ink for Christmas. This pen writes like an absolute dream!

I can tell already that my Parker pens are going to get jealous so I feel a post comparing the two and subsequent penmanship coming up in the next few weeks.

Stationery Friday

Mr S has come up with a new tradition: Stationery Friday. This involved another trip to my favourite store, Paperchase. I was really spoilt for choice in there today and didn't know what to pick. In the end we settled on some washi tapes and stickers as you can never have enough of those.

I couldn't get enough of close ups today either, there were so many cute purchases! I love this tape, it oddly reminds me of dreams. Maybe that's what the range is called? Either way I love the pastel colours and the sweet little cartoon characters.

We picked out these as well, mainly I have to admit for the orange cat tape, although I'm in love with washi in general at the moment.

I love these stickers, they have a wonderful vintage feel to them. I feel like they should be used with lace doilies and things with tea cups printed on them. I particularly liked the cherries but then I can seldom resist a good cherry print anyway!

These too have that vintage vibe, I may have to plan an afternoon tea and have that theme for a week in my planner. It's even giving me the urge to make cupcakes!

Mr S picked out the rockets which are pretty funky anyway but I love the fact that the rockets are being driven by cats. I'm definitely a cat lady, and since ours sadly passed away the house feels lacking, but it's too soon to get another cat yet (not that I'm not getting the urge anyway)

I love these sweet little stickers too. I'd love an orange cat so these put a smile on my face and I think they'll work well with the cat themed washi tape. I've started to try and think about themes to put together rather than just selecting random things because I like them.

Spoilt? Moi?

Now I may or may not have been a spoilt little starlet today as Mr S treated me whilst we were out shopping today. A quick trip to good old reliable Paperchase and I had some much coveted additions to my ever growing stack of supplies. Their Christmas range was just too irresistible and as such I've got some lush new bits for my bag, although perhaps that had soon better be box?

I absolutely fell in love with these vintage themed stickers. I particularly like the deer and the postboxes. They slightly remind me of Cath Kidston, I think particularly as some of the images are similar to the illustrations in my Christmas planner.

The paperclip love continues with these reindeer shaped beauties. Their quirkiness is fantastic and the range of colours means they could go with any colour scheme which is also a bonus. I like them so much I suspect I shall be using them even in August.

Continuing with my recent love of food with faces, how could I resist these brussell sprouts? The fact that they have faces pretty much made my week. I've even threatened to find a sprout shaped decoration to put on our tree this year. That suggestion however, went down like a lead balloon.

These festive little guys made me smile, especially the penguin. We all need to smile sometimes and these seem like a pretty good excuse if you ask me. I'm looking forward to sticking these all over my planner before I randomly stick them all over the fridge or something... hurry up Christmas!
