Shhh!!

Soooooooo,,, I may have been a very naughty little starlet today! I nipped into town and spotted at a few bits and pieces that will be great little additions to my stationery collection. By a few, I of course mean I bought probably more than I needed but there were so many cute bits how could I resist?

I got some fantastic bits from the good old pound shop. I've got a real thing for paper clips at the moment so I jumped at the opportunity to stock up on some cute shaped ones. I particularly like the fish shaped ones.

I couldn't resist adding to the washi tape stash and picked up some fab ones from The Works and Wilkinsons. Now I've just got to find somewhere to keep them all, At the moment they're still in their packets in a big bag currently known as the filofax supplies.

I also picked up these sweet little pads from the pound store. I couldn't choose between the two so I got both as they will go quite nicely with most themes, plus I just love a good list so special paper for it is always a bonus!

I also stocked up on stickers as I've been threatening to stick them everywhere in my impatience. Although I got some cute tatty teddy ones in the pound shop I also picked up these as they're basic and versatile. In addition to that they were really easy on the pocket at 50p a packet. What's not to love about that?

One thing is for sure, Christmas needs to hurry up and get here so I can get my organiser and get decorating, otherwise Mr S is going to need to get me a work room for Christmas rather than just a filofax! Not that I would complain about having a whole work room instead of just a work space of course.

Tesco

Now Tesco would not be one of my usual haunts for stationary items, I often find the choice quite generic but I was not disappointed today. I got this lovely little haul which I'm itching to use.

As I've mentioned several times already I love a good flag post-it so couldn't resist the arrows and they were really easy on the pocket too costing only about 80p. Double win! I thought the speech bubbles would be nice with the stickers I got from Paperchase the other day so of course they went into the bag too.

I couldn't resist these either. The ponies have slightly creepy faces but they're scratch and sniff not to mention loads of fun. I thought the bugs were the best though, some of them have moving eyes which caused much entertainment thus making them a necessity.

Now paperclips are something I seldom use, I just don't find them very appealing but having spent ample time on Pinterest and Etsy over the last few days that concept has quickly begun to change and I find myself drooling over more and more paperclips in funky shapes. Cat ones are next on my wish list! (of course) but I loved these too. Now I've just got to remember they're not too lovely to use!

My Lovely Workspace

Now, my work space is a bit teeny-tiny and apparently I've been all wobbly with the camera today so apologies for the quality of some of my pictures... this is apparently what happens if you sneeze and snap at the same time. I came across an old picture of my desk before I decorated and was surprised how much it has actually changed!

So here's the before picture:

I love the desk tidy, it was a Christmas present from Mr S and my pens look so sweet in it, although as you can see I hadn't finished filling it up at this point!

This is it now:

So many pretty things, although sadly not much room to work which invariably means craft goodies and stationary find their way all over the place. Here are a few of my favourite bits from my desk. Not sure what the postcard is all about though.

My Nightmare Before Christmas Post-it's came back from Disneyland Paris with me. They're so pretty I haven't quite been able to bring myself to use them yet.

There are of course an assortment of other post-its on the desk too, A girl can never have too many post-its. True story.

Oh and look more post-its! I love a good flag too, they're very handy especially if you're marking your place in a book or your week. The highlighters are from post-it too with handy little coordinating flags on the top which I find so helpful! The paper clips are from Sainsburys, they were a little treat from Mr S after a really bad day.

So there you have it beautiful people, my lovely work space with some of my favourite things.
